Material Selection: MS, High-Quality FRP, and PU Coating

Our statues are built with premium materials to ensure structural integrity, environmental resilience, and aesthetic perfection, compliant with Indian standards.

Mild Steel (MS) Framework

  • Material Specifications: We use high-grade MS (IS 2062 Grade B), offering a yield strength of 250–350 MPa and ultimate tensile strength of 400–550 MPa.
  • Structural Role: The MS framework forms a robust internal skeleton, designed as a lattice or truss system to distribute loads evenly. Hollow structural sections (HSS) or I-beams (4–12 mm thick) are selected based on load requirements per IS 800:2007.
  • Corrosion Protection: MS components are hot-dip galvanized (IS 4759, 80–100 microns zinc coating) and coated with a two-part epoxy primer and PU topcoat, tested for 1,000+ hours of salt spray resistance per IS 101.
  • Welding and Joints: Welds are executed by certified welders (per IS 816:1969) using MIG or TIG processes, with non-destructive testing (NDT) such as ultrasonic testing (IS 4260) to ensure joint integrity.

High-Quality FRP

  • Material Composition: Our FRP comprises E-glass or S-glass fibres (judicious blend of CSM/CFM/WR/G10 fibres recipe as per application) (tensile strength: 2,000–3,500 MPa) embedded in isophthalic or vinyl ester resins, offering superior resistance to UV, moisture, and chemical exposure per IS 11551.
  • Mechanical Properties: The FRP laminate achieves a tensile strength of 300–500 MPa, compressive strength of 200–300 MPa, and modulus of elasticity of 20–30 GPa, ensuring a lightweight yet rigid outer shell.
  • Layering and Thickness: Using hand lay-up or vacuum infusion, we create multi-layered FRP skins (4–10 mm thick) with fiber volume fractions of 40–60% for optimal strength-to-weight ratio per IS 14856.
  • Environmental Durability: The FRP is pre-treated to resist weathering (tested for 5,000+ hours per IS 14856) and serves as the substrate for the PU coating.

Polyurethane (PU) Coating for Weather Resistance and Aesthetics

  • Material Specifications: We apply a high-performance, two-component aliphatic polyurethane coating (e.g., Asian Paints or Berger), formulated for exceptional UV resistance, gloss retention, and durability per IS 164.
  • Weather Resistance: The PU coating withstands India's climatic extremes, including UV exposure (5,000+ hours per IS 14856), temperature fluctuations (0°C to 50°C), and humidity (up to 95% RH). It achieves salt spray resistance of 2,000+ hours (IS 101) and resists abrasion (<50 mg loss after 1,000 cycles per IS 13630).
  • Aesthetic Excellence: Available in high-gloss, semi-gloss, or matte finishes, the PU coating delivers vibrant, fade-resistant colors (customizable to IS 5 standards) with a surface hardness of 3H–4H (IS 13630).
  • Application Process: The PU coating is applied in controlled conditions using electrostatic or HVLP spray systems, with a dry film thickness (DFT) of 50–100 microns per IS 101.

Why Our FRP Quality is Paramount

Our Fiber-Reinforced Polymer (FRP) is a high-performance composite engineered for exceptional mechanical strength, environmental durability, and application-specific optimization. By combining advanced E-glass fiber reinforcements with premium vinyl ester or unsaturated polyester resin (UPR) matrices, and utilizing precision hand lay-up lamination, our FRP delivers superior tensile strength (300–500 MPa), corrosion resistance, and UV stability (5,000+ hours per IS 14856).
